Global Kids Fashion Week

March 2013 saw the first ever Global Kids Fashion Show

The much-anticipated events took place a few weeks ago and was hosted by AlexandAlexa. Think of an amazing catwalk show by the likes of Roberto Cavalli, Fendi, Kenzo bobble hats, Fendi leather coats and John Galliano waistcoats sounds like a pretty standard (yet super trendy) catwalk show, but think of all these in mini versions and you’re at Global Kids Fashion Week!

The market for children’s clothing in the UK alone is estimated to be worth £6.5 billion!!! Yes, that is right, but when you see what's on offer, is it really hard to imagine. Cuteness was in abundance at the GKFW so that is why this is a market that is just too irresistible.

The celebrity star studded event , where front row tickets were selling at £300 each, was a complete sell out with proceedings going to charity, Kids Company.

View some highlights for the days events.

The lucky attendees all received a goodie bag.

Front row - celebrity mum Jodie Kidd's 18 month old son Indio was obviously feeling a little left out and wanted to join in with the big kids.

 Jules Oliver

Amber Le-Bon

Fresh faced models - The kids wore no make-up and had their hair tied up in simple buns, ponytails and a smile!

Cute catwalk

What a finish!!

The after show party consisted of a candy floss tree. No champagne here, just juice...

Inspiration for Childrens Bedrooms

Am I doing something wrong? lol...

It is time for a lick of paint in my daughters room, and while this is all you think it will need, you soon discover that it is going to take a lot more time and effort. So, while looking through the internet for inspiration, I came across the most wonderful bedroom designs for kids that were worth sharing.

When I see rooms like this I often feel that somehow I must be just doing something a little wrong. These are definitely bedrooms to aspire to. So I will keep aspiring... My daughters room, while girly and sweet does not possess anywhere near the flare and design created in these bedrooms.

This has to be the ultimate little boys room?

Or how about this...? Pirates in the sky...! Maybe a lot of crash mats underneath though, just in case?

A nursery to die for!

The ultimate teen girls pad!
I know a little 8yr old that would love this very much.

Something a little more do-able by most of us I think.
Simple and beautiful x

It is confirmed, my daughter loves this one!... Not my absolute favourite, but I can see why she's so attracted to it. Bright vibrant colours, with a spot of princess lurking in the cupboards and draws. Not quite a teen then... Phew!!

How does your child room compare?

Rock N Regal AW13 in SS13

Children's fashion label Rocks!

After an amazing launch in AW12, and wowing everybody with the SS13 collection, Rock 'n' Regal have certainly made a lasting impression on the kids fashion scene. The AW13 collection at Bubble in London this January was no different. Their collection of unique vintage couture for kids is starting to get tongues wagging and the word on the street is out!

With key influences of both iconic moments in British history and rock music, pieces can be worn to reflect either genre or mixed up for a unique distinctive look.

Kiddi Clobber missed out this season, and so, because we were so keen to to get our hands on this fab British Brand, we can proudly announce, WE (yes, little ol' us...), have been given an unique opportunity to stock a few pieces from the AW13 collection before it goes out to retail in August later this year!!!!

Yes, your eyes do not deceive you, we can hardly contain our excitement about this. Melanie Sainsbury, the incredible creator and designer of Rock 'n' Regal has allowed us to stock a few key items from the collection that can quite easily be worn through the spring & summer months.

Rock 'n' Regal also have the exclusive rights to a license with the Beatles landmark Abbey Road Studios in London. They have created a range of T-shirts, that no doubt they will be expanding on year on year. We will of course be getting our hands on these cool tees as well, how could we not?

We thought you'd love to see some of this collection, and who are we to deprive you!!!...
We have specifically chosen, easy wearable pieces from the collection, that are effortless to wear.

Swallow Print Top                      Helena Harem Pants              Harriet Polo Draw String
